Argo Group
Ensuring a
future of talent
We worked with the global insurer to develop an employee social ambassador program that would help senior leaders promote from within, recruit new talent and secure the company’s future workforce.
Every platform has a strategy
We developed a comprehensive social media handbook with approaches for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. We worked with Argo to teach 12 initial ambassadors a set of social media best practices for each channel. We based our plan on corporate attitudes we had previously created for Argo.
“I appreciate the care that Stiff took to understand the issue and the stakeholders. They leveraged what they learned to bring a fresh and dynamic approach to employer engagement in our community.”

“I enjoy being a part of the social ambassador program because it gives me the opportunity to share company news with my peers and industry contacts in a quick and seamless way. As a marketing program manager, I appreciate the way the program is increasing awareness of the Argo brand and its value.”
We can change that.
We are #AbleTo.

“With the social ambassador program, Stiff came up with a solution that ticked all the boxes. It connects with the audience we want, builds engagement internally and externally, and increases Argo’s social media presence.”

Strong internal communications led to success
The employee ambassadors received bi-weekly newsletters that offered suggestions for engaging their networks with Argo content. After six months, we collected feedback, adjusted the program and rolled out phase two with twice as many ambassadors.
Robust ambassadorship
equals more engagement and retention.
Argo now has more than 80 active employee social ambassadors around the world. Turnover is down, employee engagement is up, and Argo has seen increased applications from millennial and Gen Z professionals. Argo now runs the employee social ambassador program in-house based on our initial strategy.
