Repositioning Canada’s vibrant north
Global Affairs Canada’s Nordic and Polar Relations Division (ECA) is one of the agencies responsible for implementing our country’s International Arctic Policy. We saw an opportunity for ECA to amplify its mandate by telling the stories taking place in the Arctic.
Canada’s Arctic is a living north
We identified a single point of persuasion to reposition Canada’s Artic as a “living North”—a place of changing seasons and environments, majestic landscapes, natural diversity and vibrant cultures. This approach better enables CIAC to raise awareness about Indigenous knowledge and how this wisdom can help fight climate change. The Centre is also able to better highlight Canada’s relationship and cooperation with other Arctic nations. We developed a social media strategy and visual identity for the Centre’s outreach activities. We create content on an ongoing basis to support the rollout.
